The barns are empty, the field is full, and it is sweltering outside. The pace around the farm has slowed slightly and our focus has shifted to preparing for guests during the Sunflower Days event, tending to the field, and looking forward to the cooler temperatures that we hope are around the corner.

Our favorite part about this time of year is hearing from YOU, our people, about how your cannas are doing, which blooms are your favorite, and which new varieties you can't wait to get your hands on next year. We especially love receiving your photos and admiring your color combinations, garden design, and carefully cared-for plants. Your joy, satisfaction, and excitement energize us and remind us to be thankful for the unique way we get to serve you.

So, for the official August newsletter, we are showcasing exactly that: your hard work that you should be proud of. We will be sharing more of your photos throughout the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned. There will be more!
