Christmas greetings from our family to yours! Here on the farm, we are in the trimming stage of canna processing. For the next several months, we will work our way through all of the cannas, one variety at a time. Each bulb is re-washed, sorted by size, trimmed if needed, and counted for the final inventory. These numbers determine what will be available for the spring season.
On that subject, the Spring 2025 catalog is being finalized and will go out in January! For those who have ordered from us before, you are already on the mailing list. If you are new to our family business and would like a catalog, please send your mailing address through our contact page.
We receive incredible customer photos each summer and have loved sharing them with you over the last several months. We enjoy highlighting one customer photo on our spring catalog cover. It is an impossible decision every year, but we are proud to feature an impressive glimpse into the yard of our friend and customer, Starlet, for our 2025 cover. Thank you, Starlet! Her Chevy pickup was full of amazing cannas, petunias, sweet potato vine, geraniums, daylilies, and more. We cannot wait for you to see it on the cover of the official catalog in January!
As a bonus for the rest of the month, you can shop the entire website for 10% off using the code December2024ThankYou. Get 10% off e-gift cards, too! E-gift cards are a great stocking stuffer and a fun gift that will continue giving for years to come. The sitewide discount code also includes hats, shirts, and our new variety, Cannova® Gold Leopard! The discount code can be used through midnight on January 1, 2025. Now is a great time to shop for last-minute Christmas gifts or a treat for yourself.
The Christmas season can provoke many emotions and memories. I will never forget a particular Christmas morning when my siblings and I still lived under one roof. All of the gifts had been opened and forgotten. We were lying on the living room floor amidst the wrapping paper and bows, belly-laughing. I don't know what was so funny or how we ended up on the floor, but I remember being content and not wanting that moment to end. During this season when it is easy to get caught up in the busy, the gifts, and the parties, we hope you find a moment of peace, joy, contentment, and great hope.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
