The Garden Coach

Many of our customers in the south started receiving their cannas last month. We are currently shipping our cannas to the warmer states, and gradually moving our way north as the temperatures rise! Oklahoma was extremely mild this winter. Cannas left in the ground in our flowerbeds (right next to the foundation on the south side of the house) are sprouting and really giving me the itch to work in the dirt. However, I'll follow our own advice and wait for soil temperatures to reach 60 degrees before planting fresh, new canna rhizomes. I'm dreaming of adding some Australia to large buckets on the porch, or maybe Pretoria. Can't decide! Let us know if you have any questions or if we may be of service to you in any way. Spring is just a few days away!
