Whether you are home in the garden or enjoying a weekend out of town, we hope this email finds you well. Our thoughts and prayers are with those of you who have served, are serving, or have lost a service member. We do not take your sacrifice lightly.
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." -John 15:13
Our first sprouts are popping up in the field! With warming temperatures and growing cannas comes the topic of garden pests. Canna leafrollers can be quite the nuisance, as I'm sure some of you already know. To help you combat this pesky caterpillar, we have put together a blog post and a YouTube video with tips and tricks on protecting cannas from leaf rollers. We hope this is helpful to you!
This month marks 25 years of our family business being online! Our website has had many changes in the 25 years since its inception. While Dustin formed the idea to sell cannas online, Nikki was the lead woman during the development of www.cannas.net and continues to be responsible for its maintenance and upgrades. She conveniently started working at the farm this month, 27 years ago! We thank her for many years of faithfully serving our canna-loving customers.
There are a few days left in our Memorial Day Weekend Sale. We added a few more sale items as well as further reductions to 50% off on bulk packages! Some of my recommendations for the sale items are our Alaska plants at 15% off or my favorite, Musifolia, at 20% off. The sale will conclude on Monday, May 27th.
We wish you a safe and enjoyable weekend. Please let us know how we can assist you in your canna-gardening endeavors!
