It is bittersweet to chop down the canna field every October. We love moving on to another season, but it is sad to see the colorful canna blooms disappear as we transition to the famous Oklahoma red dirt.

We started the annual canna harvest two weeks ago, arguably the dirtiest time of year on the farm. It's like going to the beach, taking four showers, and not understanding how there is still sand on you... but with dirt. We thank our team for their fantastic attitudes and willingness to get a little dirty during the harvest process. Harvest has been more challenging this year with some unexpected mechanical issues. Dustin has been doing what he does best, utilizing his creative ingenuity to develop solutions and get harvesting back on track as quickly as possible.
